What is IUI
In IUI, carefully prepared, healthy sperm are placed directly into the womb around the time of ovulation. This shortens the journey the sperm has to make and improves the odds of fertilisation — a quick, almost painless procedure with no need for hospital stay.
What to expect
An IUI cycle is timed carefully around ovulation, sometimes supported by mild medication and a scan or two. The procedure itself takes only a few minutes, and you can return to your normal day soon after. We will tell you honestly how many cycles are reasonable to try before considering the next step.
