Precision fertility care for male-factor. infertility.
ICSI (Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection) is a specialised and highly effective form of IVF. Where standard IVF lets sperm fertilise the egg on their own, ICSI takes a single healthy sperm and injects it directly into the egg — giving fertilisation the best possible chance even when sperm quality or numbers are low.
ICSI is often recommended when
- Sperm count is very low or movement is poor
- Sperm shape (morphology) is a concern
- Sperm had to be retrieved surgically, for example through testicular biopsy
- Previous IVF cycles saw low or failed fertilisation
- There are unexplained fertilisation difficulties
Why it works
By placing the sperm exactly where it needs to be, ICSI overcomes many of the natural barriers that male-factor infertility creates. It is carried out by our embryology team in our own laboratory, using fine, precise technique — and it has helped many couples who were told their chances were slim.
