Fertility is a shared journey — and nearly half the story is the man's.
There is still an unfair silence around male infertility. The truth is simple: in about half of all cases, the male partner is part of the picture. That is not a cause for blame or shame — it is a medical fact, and very often a treatable one. At Atom Fertility, men are cared for with the same respect, privacy and expertise as women.
Common causes
• Low sperm count or low sperm motility
• Abnormal sperm shape
• Blockages that stop sperm being released
• Hormonal imbalances
• Lifestyle and medical factors that affect sperm health
How we investigate and treat
It usually begins with a simple, confidential semen analysis. Depending on the results, we may recommend hormonal tests, lifestyle guidance, or advanced options such as surgical sperm retrieval and testicular biopsy, where sperm is collected directly when it cannot be obtained the usual way. Combined with ICSI, even severe male-factor infertility can often be overcome.
A word to the men reading this
